The smash hit app Angry Birds used to cost 99 cents for the iPhone and $2.99 for the HD version of the iPad. But if you head on over to the Apple App Store now you can download Angry Birds for free.
Rovio had previously offered a limited version of Angry Birds free, but was only for a few levels, which appears to be gone fom the Apple Store now.
Angry Birds was the game that made the company Rovio an overnight success story. It spawned a line of toys, school supplies and many other titles inspired by the first game, which included titles such as Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Seasons.
